Question 1

Do I need a subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. Credits come in one-time packs: you pay once, nothing renews, and the credits never expire.

Question 2

How many credits does one Tiny Desk video use?

Accepted Answer

It depends on length and band size. On Standard 480p: Just me and Me + sax are 4 credits for 6 seconds, 6 for 13 seconds and 8 for the full version; the full band is 8, 12 and 16. Higher tiers and 720p cost more, and the button shows the exact price first.

Question 3

Can I start with 6 seconds and get the full version later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Extending a video charges only the difference: Just me goes from 4 credits (6 seconds) to 8 (full version), so you pay 4 more. Shots you already have are kept.

Question 4

Which pack should I buy?

Accepted Answer

For a first try, 1 Video (10 credits, $6.99) covers about one Standard 480p full video for Just me or Me + sax. Credits are flexible, so you can also spend them on other settings; higher tiers, 720p and larger casts use more credits. Making more? Bigger packs cost less per credit, down to about $0.32 in the 40 Videos pack, and leftover credits carry over.

Question 5

Do my credits expire?

Accepted Answer

No. Pack credits never expire, so leftovers wait for your next video.

Question 6

Am I charged if a video fails?

Accepted Answer

No. If a render errors or times out, its credits go straight back to your balance; you don't need to ask. The one exception: if the video is made but our provider's safety check then blocks it, the provider still bills the render, so those credits are used.

Question 7

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

You can get a refund for a pack you haven't used within 7 days of buying it: email support@gettinydeskai.org from the address on your account. Partly used packs aren't refundable, except where the law requires it. If you were charged twice or didn't get your credits, email us and we'll fix it.

Question 8

How do I pay, and is it secure?

Accepted Answer

Checkout runs on Stripe, in US dollars. You pay on Stripe's secure page; we never see or store your card number.

Question 9

What if I run out of credits?

Accepted Answer

Buy another pack anytime. New credits join the same balance and work for any band size, length, tier or resolution.

Question 10

Do paid videos have a watermark?

Accepted Answer

No. Every video downloads as an MP4 with no watermark, both the version with sound and the silent one.
